Barrel marked I. Weinborner in Fulda. Beautiful rifle - ornately
carved and inlaid. Has ramrod. Engraved stock - lockplate and trim. Has sling
swivel. Octagon barrel. Barrel is 31 1/2 inches long. Very good condition.
Stock solid with expected scratches - occasional chip and ding. Beautiful
antique rifle. Will be shipped by Celtic Armory at standard $35 long gun rate

Known as an Indiana Cap Lock Bench Rifle. Tagged as a .399. Has 36
inch octagon barrel. Comes complete with ramrod. Tiger maple style stock.
Adjustable rear sights. Original rear sights have been removed. Trigger guard -
tang and side plate engraved. Metal portion of grip has crack - see picture.
Stock solid and in wonderful condition with minor dings and wear. Trigger
appears to be in working order. Bore unknown. Marked Mathesie on lock. Mathesie
family is documented in Indiana history. Elder Mathesie was originally in
charge of Napolean's gunsmith department and settled in Indiana 1846. Extremely
heavy - rifle weighs over 16 pounds. Will be shipped by Celtic Armory at
