PJ Malherbe Civil War Smooth Bore Musket


Selling As Found. Musket is marked PJ Malherbe & Co A Liege on right side. Many screws and assorted other parts marked 644. Tang - guard and even barrel match. Barrel has crown JR near breech. Rear stock heavily worn. Forestock missing bands and broken at end - see pictures. Butt plate original - has matching number. Barrel measures 37 inches. Comes with rod. Estate says musket was carried in a Pennsylvania regiment during the civil war.

Antique Caplock Rifle with Modern Sights

Item Description - LOT #61:  Solid overall condition. No makers mark found. Has modern front and rear sights but appears to be antique. Has ramrod. Stock in solid condition. All metalwork present and good with patina. Measures approximately 44 inches in length with approximate 26 inch barrel. Caliber unknown. Firing condition unknown.

Antique H Elwell Caplock Rifle - As Found

Item Description - LOT #60:  Beautiful lines. Octagon barrel. Great metalwork. Missing lock screw at hammer. Barrel heavily corroded at base - see pictures. No rod. Possible repair to underside of stock. Measures an amazing 55 1/2 inches long. Caliber unknown. Beautiful. Non firing condition.
